First Night(s) and New Year's Eve

Looking for more than just a kiss at the stroke of midnight? Want an entertaining New Year's Eve for the whole family? First Night has it all plus fireworks!

Say goodbye to 2006 in numerous cities throughout the southern states with a program called "First Night". They celebrate the beginning of the new year with regional cultural and artistic offerings. Best of all – the activities are family oriented

By purchasing and wearing a button, one wanders through a series of events and activities from the afternoon to the late evening. Look into buying your buttons before arriving at the venue as most of the following locations offer lower cost pre event prices. Most offer young children free admission.

The venues and events are as different as the areas they represent – but most common are fireworks, plenty of music and dancing and fun
